    This Counterfeit Countess episode is on Uk ITV 4 on 6th August so I will be able to check it out!

    Well today I sat through the episode, there was some fisticuffs with Madoc but sadly no scene as my photo and I don’t think the teeth are the same, plus no sign of the other man. It was quite good, all about dodgy banknotes, chateaus, glamorous women.

    When you figure out who the background guy is, I'm sure I'm going to smack myself because he's the one that is so familiar and I've almost got it and waitwaitwait...

    Maybe your scene was cut/edited and not shown, ended up on the cutting room floor and later used for prints ?

    It’s a nuisance that I can’t see his ear or the cheek mole on my print, that would have been definite proof.

    So, who are the wristwatch people here?

    I'm not convinced the watch shown matches up with Simon Templar's watch.

    Granted, I can't tell if the watch face has a dark center or if that's a reflection, but the strap looks wrong, too...

    This "watches in movies" web site lists this 1964 Bulova Regatta 23 as Simon Templar's primary watch:
