Such a cut little item, could not pass this at $1!

Not sure if cut to clear or ruby stain.

Also, would something like this have ever been signed or is that just a scratch (see last two photos.)

    Thanks for taking a look.

    Signature or scuff??

Would one expect a signature here?

Impossible to make out, so might equally just be a scuff....

I would think this is cut to clear. Doesn't quite look like a signature to me :(

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Other than it being an ADORABLE, LOVELY little toothpick holder, I'm (PERSONALLY) NOT leaning towards that last image being a signature.....although the very beginning "sort of" looks like a bird with something on it's head!!!:rolleyes:

Aqui, I'm with you. I think scuff. Thanks for doing your photo magic!

    The exact one! Thanks INH!

With that scuff on mine, probably minimal value (but maybe I can double my money at $2 at upcoming garage sale???)

Late 19th Bohemian flashed cut to clear. I'd say ask five!

I'd pay that and put it in a booth for $10. Toothpicks sell well!

It just came to me, Google Egermann Glass. A bohemian firm, specializing in (among other things) engraved ruby stained glassware.

Good thought. Egermann also did many hunting related items.
