Featured Saint-Louis Cristal plate ?

Hello everybody,

I inherited a cristal plate from my dutch grandmother and would like to know more about it.

As far I have found by myself, it could be from the Saint-Louis Manufacture near Paris. But there is no mark on it, although I read that sometimes there was a paper label with the name St-Louis on it (of course it must have fell off if there was one).

Do you think it is from the Saint-Louis ?
Do you have any idea of the age of it ?
Is it worth some money ? Precision : I do not want to sell it.

size is about 29 diameter x 5 height cm

Arques is moulded, that does look properly cut to clear. I'm thinking it's Bohemian.

Ah seen some bohemian crystal. Some look like my plate !

Baccarat is French - it might be someone like Egermann.

 

Hmmm Egermann has a lot of flowers and figurative drawings...

Opinion only.
Unless you can find the exact pattern, I think the best you can do at this point is call it French Ruby Cut to Clear.
I think Baccarat would have an acid etch somewhere to indicate it was theirs.

Val St Lambert is another strong possibility.

I'm ruling out Bohemian, simply because their cuts are not as precise and clean. I could be and have been wrong.

 

Aren't the VSL always signed in some way ?

 

Again : Saint-Louis signed it etched and sometimes only with a little paper label glued on it.
