Featured Salvador Dali Wood Engraving "Charon" Divine Comedy

I picked this up at a thrift store a couple of days ago. Pretty nice condition, a little bit of toning from an acid backing and non UV glass. This one is a little nicer than others that I have seen, as it has a small signature in the block. It is interesting how many sets of these prints were done and how each set varied from one another. I held it up to the light but could not see a watermark. The paper has a nice deckled edge. I thought I would post so folks could have a look. At the thrift store (Salvation Army) they taped a little square of white paper on the glass so you couldn't see his bits, that made me laugh. As usual, any comments appreciated.

Yeah, they are the ones that do the sales on the cruise ships.

 

Used to until they got sued for selling counterfeit Dalís.

I found a suit about alleged fake Divine Comedy prints. Not looking to promising for its authenticity.
