Featured Sea glass codd marble haul

found these wonderful bunch yesterday in an antique shop next to a load of old bottles, sold as just old marbles

£5 for the lot which is super going

ive seen people add about four in a row for a necklace, but these could make a full one

ive found one or two beachcombing before but 24 in a day is awesome

I do love sea glass. Those are super.

 

Thanks obb, they'll look better in a day or so once they've been handled for a while as natural hand oil just takes away a bit of the chalkyness but makes them shine better

They all started off there journey about the same normal marble shape, so the only change is that they've been scuffed around in the sea n rocks, taking on little marks every time they are moved by the waves

There are a couple there that are virtually markless so were probably found higher up on a beach where the tide never got to them

You can always tell real seaglass from fake seaglass by the indented little 'c's (see first pic)
