Shan, Mandalay alabaster?

    Anyone know much about dating these?
    I think Mandalay period based on rounder face and no finial.

    alabaster...maybe marble. will have to look again.

    I don't think it is alabaster.
    Alabaster disolves with water, so that means it must be porous. I would think that paint would absorb into the stone.
    This looks like glass.

    That's why I asked.
