    Hello! I have recently found a seller that sells some really beautiful jewelry so thought I would share a few of my recent purchases (more coming soon!) The necklace is little at 14"L. Would it be considered a festoon necklace? There are marcasite and the stone is a blue spinel. It is stamped 835. The brooch looks sterling but can't find any marks, Victorian? What was the small chain and attached pin for? Thanks all :)

    Portugal is renowned for filigree, I've seen it there. Problem is, so many countries had it as a tradition. Safety chain may have been added later, I've done that.
