Some local restaurant ware does sell here.&nbsp; Steak and Shake is originally from here so their old china flies out the door.&nbsp; They originally used an unbranded checkerboard pattern that is somewhat hard to find.&nbsp; Later on, they had their own logo branded wares. </p><p><br /></p><p>We use restaurant ware for our everyday dishes.&nbsp; I have a few patterns I particularly like.&nbsp; Besides the checkerboard pattern,&nbsp; there are some grey and red banded oval plates that are my favorites.&nbsp; They are just the right size and have a particularly deep rim.&nbsp; I only have 3 of them and have never seen any more.&nbsp; A quick search right now does not bring up any.&nbsp; Fortunately, they are sturdy and we have never broken them.&nbsp; Besides these, I have a pretty good set of diamond pattern dishes like this.&nbsp; These oval plates are a bit smaller than the grey and red banded ones and I also have another even smaller oval and 2 sizes of round plates in this pattern.&nbsp; Also have bowls in this pattern.&nbsp; Disclosure:&nbsp; Picture is not mine.&nbsp; Swiped from ebay <img src="styles/default/xenforo/smilies/cool.png" class="mceSmilie" alt=":cool:" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]527056[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
