Signed Ring Artist ?

I have a silver turquoise ring that I know little about someone might be more familiar with this type of jewellery as I don’t see it that often.Signed L A Navajo in hand writing would like to know the artist.

 

Nice ring. It is signed L.A. Navajo, btw. The dots are important because there are quite a few LA's.
The only ones I can find are not signed like this, or they work in a very different style.

That signature was added with a dremel. Made for sale to tourists, albeit tourists who were willing to spend a buck or two. No idea who he or she was.
