Featured Silver edged plate with a sneaky mark

    Hi everyone!

    Quick post from a sterling item I found today. Nothing too fancy, but always fun to "sniff out" some more silver. Picked up a plate that looked good to me. I must have spent 5 minutes looking for the mark. Finally, on the inside edge, I make out the faintest little STERLING on it. I know it isn't a ton of silver, but it's pretty and for $6 I'll take it!

    "Sneaky" marks are very common on this kind of thing, as well as the sterling tops on shakers and cut glass vanity jars.

    @MrNate, you can double check Replacements, for Wheeling Decorating for your silver pattern. I didn’t see it, but it was a little difficult to see them.
