Featured Silver Filigree berry brooch

Any ideas of origin please?
I’ve had a few similar style but flatter filigree brooches through but this one is a whopper!.
The berries look nicely made.
Are these still being made or is it datable?
Tests as silver but maybe low fineness as no marks on it. Thanks for looking

 

Pretty brooch, K, and nice quality too.
Unfortunately filigree is often the most difficult technique to pinpoint a region for.
I could say Mediterranean, which doesn't help much because every country on the Med makes filigree. I blame the Byzantians.

I'm slightly inclined to Portugal.

 

Filigree is coated with solder ranging 570-700 silver.

 

Portugal is a good possibility, but filigree work was done all the way across to China.

 

Yup, but those floral ones are often theirs. I've had some marked, too, purity 800 or 900.

 

Almost look like grapes but leave is wrong.

 

It really looks like one of those Christmas decoration pics as much as anything.
