Going through trying to identify some things and I have no idea what this mark is. I'm assuming it's silverplate and part of a serving dish. I didn't measure it but it's probably 9" or so in diameter. I have no idea what the mark is so I'm not having much luck finding it. Any ideas?

Looks like 925-1000 did get a response of Henry Kindberg, Paris 1824-38

Hello, this is a very old thread but I just wanted to add that I have a candlestick holder, it's worn down to the base metal, but on the underside there are remnants of silver plate. I'd been thinking that it's perhaps from the 1950's or so - it's a lovely surprise to find out how old it it. The mark on the underside is exactly the same as the pic in the beginning of this thread and that got me reading all the links. Brilliant help and I hope I can be of help to others in the future.

IMG_7788-1.jpg This is the culprit that got me to this forum, the candle holder is well and truly beaten up, but on it's nether regions there are remnants of the silver plate and of course the tell tale hallmark. IMG_7790-1.jpg
