Simmons desk, when was it made?

    I'm trying to "date" this Simmons desk. I haven't been able to find one like this anywhere. It has open shelves front & back. It has a drawer but made without knobs (3rd pic before I started refinishing)
    Can anyone help me date this? Value after I get it refinished? I need to sand it and clear coat it. 00A.jpg 00A1.jpg 00A2.jpg

    Thanks for the info. I knew the label was different from my 2 other Simmons desks. My other desks have a label with Dulux Enamel on them. I thought this desk was rather unusual. Do you know what style this desk is? Thanks for your help.

    Style is pretty utilitarian/modern. Looks like a student desk meant for two since it has a bookshelf each side. Only one drawer? Maybe made for a dorm or institutional setting.
