Small Cast Iron Fire Hydrant Salesman Sample?

    American Valve & Hydrant. 6 1/4" 862B Beaumont Texas. This stands 6 1/4" tall and measures 2 3/4" across the base. It is heavy. Could this be salesman sample?

    Not a salesman sample. Yours is made of plaster, and no working parts. Salesman samples are made in original material (iron in this case), and would have working valves, nuts, bolts, etc.
