Small etching - any ideas on initials / artist ID?

    It's about 3" high and 2 1/2" wide. I will try to get a clearer shot of just the initials.

    Here's the monogram/initials a little closer - any ideas on whether the first letter is a D vs perhaps a "t" ? Also posting a clearer picture of the whole thing:

    Hard to say... might it possibly just be a symbol, not based on letters?

    Looks Japanese to me. Is it a woodblock print ?

    Hi Ben - I believe it is an etching or engraving vs a woodblock - under 15x mag I can see all the ink lines appear to be raised.

    Definitely could be - I'm not convinced they are english letters myself, but it could be a monogram of sorts or a symbol.
