Featured Small glass plates with engraved crown

I found two glass plates with engraved crown marks on them today. Im struggling to identify them.. Any ideas please? They are about 16cm Ø

I never realised barons, etc had their own crowns. I've just had a look at this site and its says strawberry leaves and silver balls alernating signifies a marquess. Would it be a marquess crown?

I didn't see the strawberry leaves because it is transparent. But you have it in hand, and if they are there, yes it could be for a marquess

 

Yes its difficult to pick out the leaves in the photo. Would these have belonged to nobility then or is it just a manufacturers mark?

 

It doesn't look fancy enough to have come from a noble household, besides, I would expect a crest or motto as well.
Maybe they came from a hotel called "The Marquess"?
