I am not sure what this is exactly. It appears to be some type of ink that has been scratched or etched. I have not been able to discern the artist's name or location? I would appreciate any comments and/or information. It is unframed and has a homemade mat. Thank you!!! front.jpg

The vibrant color may be some of those Martin brand inks. I don't think it's got a lot of age to it, perhaps from the 1990s.

DIFFICULT NAME : N. KUWEHHDK 93 ? is my best guess.

The name looks Cyrillic. Beyond that, it seems like a souvenir print or painting from a specific town.

I'm not sure of Cyrillic, but think possible Dutch. Just in case, @Any Jewelry .

Reminds me of the Barbican structures of Krakow and Warsaw. A gate, I’d say?

Most surely, some site in Western Ukraine but can't say exactly which.
The constructions of this type are called in Ukraine "Polish gate".

They do have a number of such gates, but I don't see or remember any similar (have been there four times).

Ok, I was quite far away from the answer [IMG]
It's the Great Coastal Gate and the Fat Margaret Tower in Tallinn.

Wow...thanks for all the great information. That actually ended up being much more interesting than I had thought it would be.

I swear there was somebody on the old Antiques Ebay board who posted from Talinn.

It does look vaguely Dutch, but in Cyrillic it reads very differently.;) Good that we have so many nationalities here.:)

I thought it was a Hawaiian spelled name until I began to try to type it out.

Same guy, if worded less politely. He vanished at some point.
