This was another thrift store find, sorry about the price tag. I had a few questions about this one. Who is the artist? What is the significance of the cut corners, I have seen this quite often on later reprints. Would there be a version that does not have cut corners?
This one looks to be old. It is also a smaller size, about 8 3/4" by 6 1/2".

For a while there I couldn't sell wood blocks, but I love them. I'd hang it up and figure I got a steal!

The original was by Utagawa Hiroshige, "Sea Coast by Tenjin Mountain in Kazusa Province", 1852.

I uploaded yours to find similar - you can click on each one to get more details. Sizes seem to vary, but all fairly small like yours. I do not know how to tell if yours is an original print, or a later reprint though.

Thanks! Looks like the red on mine has faded quite a bit. I think I will take it out of the frame and inspect it for the other marks. Nice website, I will keep that in mind for future research.
