I would like to get to get some information on this bottle but unfortunately I am not very savvy on this forum....It has been a while since I last posted so I guess I am classed as an amateur.Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi George. It is a beauty, I'm guessing it is glass? The detail of the painting is very good.
The base colour is called Imperial Yellow, after a colour that was once reserved for the Imperial household. That doesn't mean your bottle has an imperial connection though.

The mark in red is for an Imperial period, but I think it was made after the Imperial times, making the mark 'apocryphal', in honour of an earlier period.
Old marks, of the period, would be written with a thick to thin brushstroke.
My guess would be Republican Era, a period that is now of interest to collectors.

Just a note, stoppers like this one are often nice replacements. They are not necessarily an indication of the age.
This one could be of the period though, but it looks like the stone came loose and was glued back off centre. Not a big problem.

Tagging @JayBee and @Couch Potato Wannabe for a translation of the text.:)
Maybe a description of the scene, or reference to a poem or story?

Characters state "Made in the Year of Qian Long."
Might be a modern copy IMHO, made to look old, but I might be wrong.
Sorry, but can't read the crazy cursive... Just too crazy!
But it's good writing. "calligraphycally" speaking.
Nice piece though, as far as pics allow to tell, even if a copy or modern creation.

It is certainly not Qian Long, but it isn't new either. My guess would still be Republican Era.
