Featured So Thrilled with this Find, Just Have to Show You

    I found this Blenko Bottle in a local on-line auction. The people giving the auction took a poor photo and this bottle looked a lot smaller than it really is. So I was on pins and needles when I went to pick it up, hoping it would be what I thought it was. And it is!, a huge 20" high Husted #5719 bottle with a gigantic stopper. It's the first I've ever found.

    Thank you all! DH wants to know what you put in it. Fortunately, it never had any liquid in it. I can't imagine how you would dry it out. But it sure makes itself known.

    Pam - I know someone who would love to get his grubby little paws on that bottle. :happy::happy::happy:

    He has 5 or 6 of the huge decanters sitting in front of a large window.

    No it is not the DH. If he was able, the only thing he would collect are cars. ;):D:D

    The person I was speaking of is the auctioneer I work for on Fridays. He has a huge collection of Blenko some of which is displayed at the auction house. The really great pieces are at his house which is where the decanters are kept.

    He rarely buys it any more because he has so much., but I really think he might make an exception for that piece. :hilarious::hilarious:
