Sofa of unknown origin

Hello.

We brought a sofa home from the antique mall recently. I don't know how old it is. And I'm pretty sure it's not real leather, and I'm doubtful that it's even real wood. But it's so unique. I can't find any information about it online, and I can't find any matching pieces. And there are no tags or marks on this, which makes me wonder if it was reupholstered at some point. I'm fascinated by it. I would appreciate it so much if anyone out there could identify the style or model of it. Any information would be helpful. Thank you so much!

Yes, it looks like that! Actually, the way the back curves down into the seat... It feels kind of strange to sit in. It almost forces you to lean back.

 

1970s ... Mediterranean style.

 

Thanks, verybrad! 1970's Mediterranean. I'm not familiar with that style of furniture. There's always something to learn.

Hi there! I have the exact same couch! I found a “set” at an antique store as well. I have 2 end chairs and 4 card chairs.
