[QUOTE="Figtree3, post: 4045541, member: 33"]It's interesting that John Leonard Seibel's mother's maiden surname was Reimche. (Wilhelmina Reimche Seibel, in Find A Grave https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/66721344/wilhelmina-seibel). Katherina Elizabeth Reimche Seibel (1853-1933) https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/20743102/katherina-elisabeth-seibel

She was married to Heinrich John Seibel. They were born in Russia, and lived in Sheridan County, North Dakota, same as the Rev. Ludwig Seibel that I mentioned in an earlier post. So now I'm wondering if they were all related. All born in Russia and all born during the same time frames. I mean, Lenhart K. Seibel, Heinrich John Seibel, and the Rev. Ludwig Seibel were all born in the 1850s, as were their wives, who were all surnamed Reimche. Makes me wonder, but not enough to do all of the research to prove it!

Also, you mentioned Rev. Seibel's death date being on the back of his picture.
