Some beat up knife

    Hello Forum.
    I baught this old knife the other day for a buck and I've been trying to figure out who could have made it. Seems like it was a popular style handle back around ww2, but the blade looks as though it's been cleaned and sharpened so many times the maker stamp is gone. Any info would be appreciated, thank you.

    Thanks komokwa, those sure do look identical. To bad my blade is all junked up where the stamp would be..

    the pitting is bad....but maybe a light buff could raise some marks...
    if not ...it's still a good workhorse knife to own....and with a little tlc....worth more than a buck....... dollar that is...not Buck Knife !! Teehe !!

    if you were to sell it...a little more research might pin down the date better...

    I think I might hold on to this one. It feels nice and sturdy. Like it could really take a beating.
