Featured Some Chinese Silk embroidery items

    I went to a saly today and they had all these plastic bags stapled closed with different silk items for $5.00 USD for each bag. These are the three I bought

    This first one I am not sure what it is, At first i thought it might be an apron?
    Measures 21" x 19"

    These two are Pillow covers. Fit a standard size pillow. They have no tags, so I thought handmade?

    The last one turned out to be a 40" square tablecloth.

    I'd be tempted to use them pillow covers, in hot weather

    Do ya think silk or rayon ?

    I'm pretty sure silk, others with the same fringe I have seen so far are stating silk. A pink pair, same size with butterflies. And several round ones. They are saying mid century?
