My business partner had more fun burning the rubbish, I think he`s a pyromaniac.
He does not know much about antiques, he`s learning, I had to stop him burning some books and manuals that are quite valuable, LOL

I`ve seen stereo view photo`s before and the viewers but never the camera that actually takes the pics.
This is the Bakelite camera along with the unused viewer.

A 3rd, "What fun!" The Sensible sad iron was manufactured by Nelson R. Streeter & Co. of Groton, Connecticut. At present not sure of a time fame on this iron, but do know their Sensible campanion trivet were made and/or patented in 1887. The trivets are rectangular openwork with "Sensible" in the middle. The "Sensible" trivets came in at least 3 lengths: toy lengths 3" long and 4.5" long; for regular irons 6" long.

    --- Susan

Edit: Not Groton, CT. Company was located in Groton, ** NY **. I haven't found your Sensible #4, but did find a Sensible #6. BTW, the company made several different Sensible sad irons. Here's the #6, it's a toy. 13th down. Do note the one before it is a Sensible #6 copy out of Canada.

Your semi circular Bakelite thing is actually a desk tidy for a chap. I've had a few of them.

I thought I spotted a VW mini bus among those Matchbox cars. On the edges of my mind I remember hearing that those can be very expensive. But I may be wrong! LOL

    Eventually,when we get to them.:D

We have to sell the household furniture and domestic appliances to make room, then all the power tools and gardening equipment, sort out the car boot material, antique fair goodies and small ebay stuff.
Both our large storage lockups are full, we even have stuff hanging from the roof rafters and walls.
The amount of engineering and woodworking tools is staggering.
