I bought this pendant because I recognized the style. I had to make a quick decision, because it was a sales event and many people wanted it. To my dismay when I got home, the only mark was 925 on the bale. It also has a noticeable divergence with an extra loopy design on the bottom of the more typical oval.

Is this an imitation or just an unsigned piece?

    It could be Indonesian.

Is this some mix of inlay & stone dying? In pix there are places where the line between 2 colors is not as sharp is it would be with inlay.

I haven't seen them from Indonesia, but the Philippines are notorious.
Thailand and Turkey make 'in the style of', but their pieces are not intended to fake. Of course they do end up in the fakes circuit, sold as genuine NA, so always good to ask.
I suspect yours was made in Thailand or the Philippines.

Thank you. Win some. Lose some. I should have checked the back, but now I know.

You are right, there is not a line between the middle section. Very good spotting. I'll look for this in the future.

Agree definitely Asian although I’ll defer to others on actual origin. Sadly the market is flooded with this stuff.

BTW it IS Southwestern style. That’s a totally safe keyword beside not designating Southwestern WHERE…

Your right. I turned down a bunch of imitation pieces at the same sale.
