Featured Speaking of yellow glass beads

    These all look the same in ambient lighting. One is green in black light. Most are orangish. One appears clear.

    Differences in colour in similar beads under UV light can happen. Like in this antique Dutch necklace:

    I haven't tested the stones yet, I have no idea what they are, could be glass too.

    I acquired this yesterday. It reminds me of your necklace; could it be Dutch too, although mine's glass?

    Pretty necklace, Barn, probably Czech 1930s, but the costume joolies will be able to tell you more.

    The general style is not traditional Dutch, no decorated gold clasp.
    Traditional Dutch is opulent, sometimes even ott. Even glass bead necklaces would have gold clasps, sometimes silver for mourning, but always skilfully decorated.
    The clasp on the necklace I posted is handmade 14 or 18k gold, don't remember exactly. I have these photos on file, and didn't take the necklace out to check.
