Sterling ring with carved ivory

    I picked this up today at thrift store, very cheap price. doesn't have any markings but I tested with my 18k gold acid and scratch test stone, yes it's sterling.
    I think the setting is ivory, I can see straight lines in it. It is also signed at top whoever the carver is or was, any ideas on anything about this ring ?

    Student/beginner hobbyist quality(bad bezel seam,excess solder),stone/bone appears to have painted on sealer.

    Looks like ivory....reminds me of some work done in Alaska.....

    Perfect komokwa, Thank You. I have a few ivory pieces in my small collection but not selling. Very cool for posting that similar style ring from Alaska...

    It's a generic type of silver work,common in Mexico,the U.S, etc............
