    Hiya!

I was told these were Jade. The clasp is marked 14k and a maker’s mark that I think has yet to really ever be identified. You usually see it on pearls from what I remember.

At any rate, this is my brand so king new presidium. I had to replace the old one because the movers thieves it. Took me 3 years to break down to do it cause I just knew I would find it in the garage but….

Anywho, the first test shows the white or celery bead and the 2nd the olive green. I don’t believe these are chrysoprase. Would the reading be good enough for Nephrite? The needle moved around on that line a bit cause it’s hard to hold the testing wand with only one hand on that round bead. I’m rusty at this machine and not good with these types of stones.
Any help is very much appreciated

    thanks as always.

Looks right to me for nephrite. Just a general note, I have one of those meters and they are very inaccurate - temperature, humidity and even if you are grounded or not can make a big difference to the readings. If you do a lot of stones get a microscope (which you can also easily use as a polariscope) and a refractometer, this will give you much better results you can be confident in.

I actually have a refractometer. I just need to find what box it’s in. It works with a drop of solution. I’ll have to see if I can find it Ty

The light green beads look like they could be green aventurine, a variety of quartz. The darker green beads could be dyed agate, a variety of quartz. Your 2 Presidium readings look like they almost reach the range for quartz.

The clasp is a classic pearl clasp, but used on all kinds of necklaces since they're very secure.
