What is the colour of the stone pieces in daylight? That artificial light/flash makes it very difficult to see colour or detail. If the piece on the left is pale pink, it could be rose quartz. It looks like nice quality carving, but we really need to see good detail in natural light. The piece in the middle is a mystery in this light with unnatural shimmer. The piece on the right looks like serpentine. It is a version of the Shou character, for longevity. I agree, the netsuke represents Daruma, the monk who introduced Buddhism to Japan. But it is missing its face with bulging eyes, which was probably beautifully carved ivory inlay, with possibly lacquer or inked highlights. The eyes could have been of the rolling type. So now it is essentially Daruma's robe, minus Daruma himself. That makes a huge difference to the value.:( On the upside, you don't have to worry about selling ivory.;)
