Strange little cup with many tiny clay flowers.. anyone know what it could be?

    Very pretty. Theres a name for that style but it escapes me. I want to say "snowball" but Im not sure.

    Something akin to schneeballen or elfinware porcelain. Schneeballen is German for snowball.

    Thank you. I did find a name Jacob Petit associated with this style. Still unsure.

    Probably not applicable but the grooves on the top rim make me think of a paint brush pot. The artist can rest their brush horizontally in the grooves on the top of the cup.

    That makes perfect sense! I wish it was marked, so I could at least know where it was made. I wonder how old it is.
