Featured Strange older lamp

Hello, I'm hoping someone can tell me something about this lamp I found in my parents attic? I'm cleaning out and don't know if this is worth keeping. It doesn't feel expensive, I'm thinking from the 60s, but not sure. Thanks! Cathy

 

I was going to say 1960s-70s.
As for value, some things surprise you. The things I think are ugly and not worth much, tend to be the things people pay big money for.

There’s at least two companies that did these lamps, one is “Lights Fantastic” and I can’t remember the other.
