Featured Stuck perfume bottle

    Yes plenty of sludge there.
    Is your bottle earlier than mine as mine is more brass coloured than yours which looks more chrome like?

    Marcel Frank made this hardware in both chrome & gold-plated? putting it on many different bottles. My one reference book puts this style at c.1950 but it was made from 1936 through 1972.

    Congratulations!!

    Getting jammed stuff moving again is so satisfying.

    If you want extra help cleaning it out, you could try using an ultrasonic cleaner to get into the hard-to-reach places.

    It looks nice and sparkling clean now after rinsing it 3 times with the SSpirit and I’ll show it in the finds section. I thought it was likely a lost cause and I expect other people thought so too and had left it on the Charity shop shelf.
