Hello guys,so 2 weeks ago i just found something beautiful when picking items, and i think this is the most beautiful thing i've picked so far.
The information that i know is this is italian, there're maker's name but can't read well it seems wrote D.P Louialo or Loviato i don't have idea, the condition is perfect only miss the harp string, and it's big enough for 45 x 38 x 28cm,and i think this one is old enough from the surface of the statue,so any information and it's value guys?i'll appreciated it,thank you

Welcome back S Wolf, I've missed you!:)
It looks fairly modern to me as well. Other than that the subject could be Orpheus and Eurydice, I can't help.

Had to explore, of course, as it's a plausible reading. KPM:

    This one too:

The Phrygian cap on the lyrist raises another possibility: Paris & Helen. This is Royal Doulton's idea of Helen:

    Not to sidetrack the discussion...
Maybe it’s a figural inkstand. Maybe another way to search?
    I missed you @Silver Wolf ! :)

Agree, it has two flat oval areas that could have held an inkwell and sand container, two inkwells, or maybe pepper and salt?

I think @i need help meant an inkstand with separate inkwells, that you could take off the stand.

When you're a prince, they make you take music lessons. A music lesson that ended badly is a famous episode in the life of Hercules. (Google Hercules Linus if you want to know more.)
