I found this today at my friend's thrift store today & paid $100 for it. I thought it was bronze because of the patina /colors to it, but when I searched Zara sculpture I saw several like mine but they were described as pottery??
Is this pottery? It evens sounds like metal when I thump a finger against it!
Thank you as always for any information!

I wonder if it isn't colored to look like metal (one of the listings in the link below states, "created using a low-fire Raku pottery technique and has a slight iridescent finish." Maybe that's it

It as a certain ‘burning man’ edge. I like it.. Seemingly a great buy (looking at some of the prices online) What is the size of it?

    That's not fair!
    The $1,250 pair is 37"
    So it should be, 24/37x1,250 = $810.81 :D

An unusual piece, but it is later than mid-century and it has nothing in common with Surrealism.
I don't think you need any 'fancy' art terms, the artist's name alone will sell, expecially where you are. George Tudzarov worked in Ft Lauderdale.
