Teardrop shaped brass bell need help

Hi, I can't find another bell with a teardrop shape similar to this one. I'm not sure if it is brass or copper either. It stands about 4.5" tall and is about 3.75" in diameter at the bottom. To me it has a Scandinavian look, but I may be half way around the world off. Thanks in advance for any help.

A lot of brass is imported from India.

 

I live in Iowa actually. I do see a lot of brass items from India, usually with the small square stickers. In fact this was on the shelf next to a brass vase stamped "British India." It very well could be made in India, though the casting seems a little better than most. It is the shape of the bell that baffles me more than anything. I'm wracking my brain to think of another term besides teardrop shape and the only other is Hershey Kiss shape and that gets me nowhere.

 

Looks like a factory reject goblet which had the base cut off and made into a bell.

 

I can see that for sure. It goes well with a hanging round ship window mirror I have.
