    Hello everyone,

I have recently found this charming porcelain figurines of a woman with flowers. Titled 'The Flower Seller'. I have been told by other people that it looks to be 19th century and may be manufactured by Rockingham Porcelain, however it does not have any identifying marks.

Could anyone tell me anything more about it? I would be very grateful for any information!

    Many thanks,
    Isobel

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have included a picture of the base, but there doesn't seem to be any marks on it

    Welcome Issy.
Could you give us dimensions please.

That is a really weird bottom. Almost as if it was filled in

    Possibly German or Japanese.

    Approx. 4" x 4x" x 2 1/2"
So a trinket or souvenir of sorts.

Looking at how well done the flowers are, I'm going with German. Except the bottom still bothers me.
Does it look like it was filled in with something other than the original porcelain?
It looks like plaster of paris.
