    Hi dear members,

I have this painting on paper.
    It is very old.
I need your help for confirming if this is an original Th Weber.

    Best regards,
    Mirela

I'd be a bit concerned about the "SB" monogram above the artist's name.

We are living in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Any idea where can we go for checking it directly?

hello Mirela ...judging from the dark shiny portion and the texture of the rest it appears to be a chromolithograph, done by multiple procedures where colours are applied to a stone plate , lighter colours first ..printed under pressure..........chromo..coloured.... litho...stone......graph..medium eg paper .. see what others may suggest...this method gained favour from late 19th century although method in use a lot earlier..... regards...pewter2

The SB monogram is very likely that of the publisher. It's not a marking one would find on an original work.
