Thick bottomed glass, penny lick?

    I picked this up for a whole pound today..I remember seeing similar things on the antique roadtrip with Paul Laidlaw called penny licks, although this doesn't fit the description. The base is pretty well worn so I guess it has some age

    It's 8.5cm tall

    Looks darn thick,I'd wash it before getting your penny licks in though !

    Looks like it.

    In the late 80's I had quite a few of them, they were given to me by my ex MIL.
    I married into an Italian icecream family for my sins:eek::D
