Does anyone know what the star mark on the bottom means or maker ?
Or any ideas what this actually is, I almost think it's a hotel cigar ashtray.

    Thank You

Don’t know much about it, but the glass seems to be of good quality. I don’t know of a star mark like that. Sorry I couldn’t help more.

It also looks better than hotel quality.

    Most likely 1970s.
Could be West German glass on an American base
Or might be an Italian import.

I suspect the glass is French. Base does look Italian.
