Is this wool or mohair ? I don't know anymore . Is it a throw or blanket, it's thick and soft but has many holes and measures approx 45" x 52" .

    Thank You

I wouldn't call this a tapestry, Billy. It's a knit throw rug from appearances. Hard to tell from your photographs but just wool, I think. (Doesn't look to be super-soft or "fuzzy" as mohair would.) Vintage.

If something's been eating holes in it, odds are it's wool. It doesn't look like mohair.

Looks too flimsy for a 'rug" - a throw for over a chair or over the person sitting in the chair while watching TV?

Too funny. I call that a throw rug. And the other a scatter rug. Lap robe then.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

In my house it would be an afghan or a lap throw.
