One, unless there isnt a mark at all, 90% of his pieces are signed Sanguino Toledo or S. Toledo, mine just say Toledo. The handwriting looks the same but these signatures are plainer than his other examples. Secondly there&#039;s a few cups and plates that are almost identical to mine in style, but the mugs I&#039;ve only seen with bulls on them, not any roosters like are on a couple of his plates. The style while similar, is more cave painting-esque than these. And fourth, I cannot find an exact match to any of these mugs at all. They just don&#039;t exist. Any sort of search past &#039;Sanguino pottery&#039; turns up the no matching results error on google.</p> <p style="text-align: center"><br /></p> <p style="text-align: center">There was a short biography of Sanguino I found, he was born 1949, his family set up their pottery factory in Toledo in 1956, and he taught at two universities 1973-198something. Could these be some sort of student work if not his?</p> <p style="text-align: center"><br /></p> <p style="text-align: center">They&#039;re very fun all the same, and I&#039;m quite pleased with the purchase although they&#039;re a little scraped up.</p> <p style="text-align: center"><br /></p> <p style="text-align: center">Does anyone have any idea about them or him?
