Featured Three hand carved stations of the cross - how old, where, and how do I clean them??

I have to admit I've been using a soft toothbrush for several hours now. I also tried the qtip and saliva method. I've come to the conclusion that I will not be happy with the results using any of the methods I have been, so I might as well just list them and try to get them the heck out of here.
