Featured Thrift store find - Solid Brass? Copper? Lamp & Shade; Is this Arts & Crafts?

    This is the 2nd piece of furniture I found at a local thrift store today (I'm trying to move away from paintings but it's not easy + they take up less room!!)

    It's all brass? or copper? (look where they painted (I think) the inside of the shade white - to reflect light better, right?

    Is this Arts & Crafts movement? How old is it?
    Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    PS - When I saw it my first thought was "At least I can't accidently knock this over & break it like the mushroom lamp last week!"

    Looks super solid, but not old. Probably someone's project piece from the last half of the 20th Century.
