Yes, you RAINED all over his parade!:p While I had skillfully moved thread to the important part, GOLF!:cigar:

In looking at brand new putters on Tiffany's site I notice one other thing in addition to @Aquitaine rain dance! there is no serial number on OP putter like there is on a "real" Tiffany putter..........

If you look at the "N" and "Y" and the "&" it looks they were double stamped? The "N" looks like a "M" or id it just a illusion? Screenshot_20210107-171413_Chrome.jpg

The Y and the & have a shadow like a double stamp and the 1st leg of the N looks like a thin split in the stamp.
I'll find out at jeweler's if it's silver - I'm hoping it's a error and Tiffany will pay me full price to take it off market!!

Well, even if it's not Tiffany, if the putter head is solid silver, you still did well, didn't you?

Sorry James, my Dad never could see the point of taking a stick and hitting a little ball all over a big field!! And I’ll probably be crucified for my comment, but that’s life!!:joyful::p:D:hilarious:

Oh my goodness!!! That’s wild!!! Never imagined there being lines like that. I wonder if it’s like that where I am. I’m not even up at that time. I guess it’s worth it if you’re finding this great stuff. I go in the evening so I guess that why it’s only the really “not obvious” stuff I find that has value. Even that’s few and far between.

    I'm not.
Spending 4 1/2 hours , in Sept, on a mild sunny day...outdoors in beautiful surroundings ....with 3 of my pals...laughing, joking....and hitting that ball with a 7 wood , 175 yards away so that it lands 5 feet from the flag stick..........
What a great feeling that all is !!!

    I'm sorry , but if you don't golf...you don't understand golf....
that's all there is to it.!

Yes, a Zen-type experience with a touch of Calvinist, impossible to describe, Golf often lets one know how much punishment a human can take without cracking.
It is also unique, there are no other players, in fact, the ball does not even move, it just sits on the ground begging to be hit! What could go wrong?
Plenty, TRUST ME! But also, instant gratification on a well-struck shot.
You wouldn't understand if you don't play.:)

It's a ball & stick game....but unlike baseball, tennis , ping pong, cricket or badminton ....no one is tossing the ball at you...at speed.
It just sits there....where you've just hit it....waiting to be hit again.
Unless it's sitting next to a tree.....or 15 feet into the woods......or 15 down a water hazard........in which case you can almost hear it laughing at you !! :arghh:

DEDICATED! play it as it lies! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Next time, he might consider spikes :p for a shot like that.
Everything was FINE until his feet slipped!

Take the penalty ....& drop the ball where it went into the hazard...2 club lengths , no closer to the hole............

.............or invest in scuba gear !!!:happy::happy::jawdrop:
