Only thing I found wrong was that the drop-front on the one piece did not fit quite right and would not easily go back into the case. Not sure what was wrong with it but think it would not have been too hard to figure out how to fix it. </p><p>[ATTACH=full]531848[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>This large 1930s solid oak dresser was $95.00. I wasn't sure if the pulls were original or not. Thought they went well, even if not original. As you can see, their spinning has worn down the drawer fronts in a circle. Also the front right foot has chipped off but the missing piece was in the drawer. Both would be an easy fix.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]531849[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>The rest of these things were at our large independent charity thrift where I buy most of my finds. Their prices have been creeping up on some things but furniture tends to be quite reasonable. Also their friendly manager that always gave me deals no longer works the sales floor <img src="styles/default/xenforo/smilies/frown.png" class="mceSmilie" alt=":(" unselectable="on" />. It remains to be seen what this will mean going forward.</p><p><br /></p><p>This cedar chest is unusual, with inlaid design. It had a misaligned repair to a split in the top and a chunk of one foot was missing. Otherwise, this would have been a no-brainer at $10.00. Was tempted even so but I still have not sold the last cedar chest I bought.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]531850[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>This large chest is an oldie. It has a not-so-great repair to the top and a horrible polyurethane finish. Even so, I was tempted at $13.00.
