Update....not Tiffany. It's not marked anywhere. Pretty good copy though!

I would strongly advise further research. Since one sold in 2010 for so much--even with prices "down", you want to be absolutely sure.

Maybe someone mentioned this already, but I am seeing what looks like a fairly old switch in the photos. Were copies made back when a switch like this would have been common?

Since we are talking about potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars, it might be worth the money to charge the estate the cost of a professional evaluation.

I agree with Lucille. You want to be 100% sure on this one.

I see from your other post that you run estate sales.
None of us who have been in the business for any length of time can know and assess everything. Sometimes we need to ask for other opinions. You are getting good advice here, but we only have pictures to look at.

Thanks for the advice Lucille and Cluttered. There are already some things that have been set aside to have a pro take a look at. Might have to add his one to the list.

    Fascinating info about George Wood!

Here are some more pics. There's an area of damage to the mosaic in the last photo.

Yes. No marks at all with a smooth bottom.

Is it just me or does anybody else find it odd that wind manufacturing tabs on the wings are still in place as I noticed on a lot of the so called authentic Tiffany lamps. I just can't imagine ( although I maybe dead wrong ) that they would leave those in place and not remove them.
