    Nice find and still no time to look myself for further info about my tiles . maybe I will contact a Italian museum Toscane area to see what the think off them .

    How can you be so certain?
    The ones you posted are clearly very different, much more detail in the clothing and delicately painted faces with shading.
    Ger's tiles are nice, but the execution is of a different quality an looks more modern.

    Though I feel the examples just introduced are very different from the OPs examples, I recognise it is extremely hard to tell for sure if ceramics are modern or old - my best find ever was a late 16th century French wet drug apothecary jar, badly damaged and I almost didn't buy it (for 2 euros!) because I was sure the decoration was too modern :joyful: luckily after I got it home I found a picture of it on a museum website so knew what I had!

    An expert would be able to tell you instantly, so I very much agree you should do that.
