Tintype Bib W/ Anchor ?

May one ask your reason for joining a Forum such as this one?

 

You collectors always think that owning an artifact makes you an expert on it.

Judging by the vast number of people who show up here wanting to know about the items they own, I'm going to surmise that you are tarring & feathering everyone with the same brush, on account of some bad experience you've had in the past .

& as for that other stuff....you've already proven enough for me not to consider your expertise of any value .......here that is !

Whoa doggies. He's gone. And just when I was going to ask him about a really old Polaroid color photo I have of an aunt and uncle sitting on their front porch in the summer with my aunt's various flowers blooming in a myriad of colors around the side and front railings of the porch. It was probably taken in the early 1970s or perhaps even earlier.

Phooey, I say, just plain phooey accompanied by my clucking sounds like an old wet setting hen.

Suffice it to say, I'd much prefer that a new member not be challenged right off the bat.
