Hi all, I have this new project. this Rouge music box is in need of some repair. I have never seen this particular one before so I think it is pretty special. as you can see the little guy up stairs is supposed to move. Opening and closing the doors as the music plays. His hands were once attached to the doors as you can see the holes. Then the task of figuring out how he moved back and fourth.
Any help, tips, or advice appreciated on this one.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Is that the only problem......I mean does the wind-up part work....music play....is it just that hands need to be re-attached??? It's very cute!!!!

    Reuge?:)
Maybe Reuge only made the mechanism? The box reminds me of German Ore Mountains woodwork.

I should have mentioned that at first, Sorry.
I got the little guy to move now so all I need to do is figure out how to attach the doors to his hands again.

My SWAG's is that there were originally 2 little knobs on the inside of the doors that his hands were tied onto or possibly a string was threaded through the holes on the doors. Is there anything on the outside of the doors?
